Cancer Support Community Benjamin Center (CSC) is hosting its annual Gilda Award Gala, an evening of humor & inspiration on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at the Intercontinental Los Angeles, Century City.  It will be an exciting night honoring celebrated innovators and artists. We hope you will spread the word and join us! This week we are spotlighting the inaugural Wellness Award recipient, YAS Fitness Centers (Kimberly Fowler & Sherri Rosen). Wellness Award The Wellness Award honors an individual or entity that promotes the healing or prevention of cancer within the greater Los Angeles community. YAS Fitness Centers, is this year's recipient of the Wellness Award. The fitness company is being celebrated for its positive influence on the community-at-large by promoting wellness and a culture and spirit of generosity. Kimberly Fowler is a cancer survivor and feels that giving back is one of the most important things a business should do. She and Sherri believe the efforts of individuals and communities will change the world. YAS is commited to being an impetus for change and hosts an annual YAS-A-THON to raise funds for ThinkCure!, a community based non-profit that funds collaborative cancer research.
